  • Collaborative culture where knowledge-sharing, accountability, and strong working relationships are part of daily practice.
  • Long-term opportunity for someone who wants to deepen technical expertise while expanding leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing as the Project Architect

  • Lead the development of architectural documents from schematic design through construction documents and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design team to maintain a clear project concept, narrative, and design intent throughout all phases.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to develop work plans and support schedules, resources, staffing, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal technical staff as well as outside consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through active participation in meetings, interviews, and ongoing communication.
  • Lead the preparation of addenda and related bid-phase documentation.
  • Support site visits, field reports, and construction administration activities to help ensure alignment between design intent and construction progress.
  • Oversee submittal reviews and respond to contractor questions related to the construction documents during the construction phase.
  • Participate in owner-architect-contractor meetings as needed.
  • Ensure code compliance and coordinate with regulatory authorities and agencies for approvals.
  • Research building systems, materials, and technologies that support design quality and innovation.
  • Lead internal design reviews and provide technical feedback that strengthens project solutions.
  • Support post-occupancy evaluation efforts, document lessons learned, and help improve future project delivery standards.
  • Partner with the Project Manager on end-of-phase reviews and multidisciplinary document coordination.
  • Lead project teams through the production process, promoting collaboration, accountability, and technical quality.
  • Contribute to broader organizational initiatives, including recruiting and hiring support when needed.
  • Coach junior staff and support professional development, technical growth, and licensure progress.
