Job Title: Program Manager
Location : Tampa, FL
Long Term
Responsibilities
• Project Planning and Execution
• Produce robust project plan, work with sr leadership (VP level Director level) and cross functional teams to assess understand project options and scenarios, develop mitigation plans
• Lead Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close phases of projects
• Plan, control, and execute project scope
• Ability to forecast progress and responsible for achieving milestones
• Provide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of project goals and timelines
• Communication and Stakeholder Management
• Create and be responsible for the master milestone schedule, keep deliverables on track, handle dependencies and escalations
• Manage scheduling meetings, sending agendas, defining meeting objectives, preparing minutes, and following-up with team members on critical action items
• Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders, manage expectations and drive conflict resolution
• Present to program steering committees making detailed, prioritized recommendations, facilitating discussions and driving decision making
• Risk Management
• Prepare and manage the project Risk Management Plan
• Managing project level risks and issues, taking corrective actions, and raising awareness at Program and Portfolio level
• Developing regular risk assessments and risk mitigations plans
• Timely escalation and resolution of complex issues
• Resource and Budget Management
• Forecast and track project budget and resource requirements
• Ensure program initiatives are correctly resourced and funded; Resolve resource conflicts and budget mismatches
• Management Reporting
• Project level management reporting, including milestone tracking, forecasts, risks, issues, and overall project RAG status
• Benefits Management
• Ensure Project Business case exists and is maintained throughout the project
• Escalate risks and issues that may affect the viability of the business case
• Ensure the project remains aligned to deliver outcomes that will support benefits realization
Qualifications and Skills
• 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience is required
• A Bachelor or Master's Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Finance/Accounting Degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic and departmental IT change initiatives, preferably in large, multi-national organizations.
• Oracle ERP implementation highly desired
• Agile experience preferred
• Demonstrated depth of Finance knowledge and business acumen obtained from previous experience of project and programs
• Demonstrated experience delivering Corporate ERP initiatives, Oracle Cloud preferred
• Proactive mindset, can adapt easily to a changing environment, excellent in time management
• Ability to obtain and communicate a broader picture but also get hands-on when needed
