About the Program:

• Purpose: Our program aims to bridge the gap between education and professional life. As a intern, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and contribute to real-world projects.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Underrepresented Group: We encourage candidates who have identified themselves as part of an underrepresented or marginalized group to apply.

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be18 years of age or older.

  • Availability: You must be availableMonday through Friday during business hours

• Assist in the quarterly security controls attestation process.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls.

• Ensure alignment of IT processes with organizational goals and objectives.

• Provide assistance and support during internal and third-party audits or IT related assessments.

• Prepare GRC reports.

• Maintain documentation related to governance, risk, and compliance activities.

• Currently enrolled or completed a post-secondary program in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.

• Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of Power BI.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Hands-on experience in a real-world security environment.
