PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada's largest airport for the future of air travel-including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Stakeholder Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting internal and external stakeholders, and partner engagement activities for one of Canada's most high-profile aviation infrastructure programs. Reporting to Communications leadership and working closely with the GTAA, this role helps ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication and process adherence with airport stakeholders. The Communications & Stakeholder Coordinator plays an important role in helping minimize disruption, supporting reputational management, and contributing to the overall public-facing success of the PACT program.

  • Coordinate project and stakeholder meetings, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, action logs, decision tracking, and follow-up to ensure commitments are appropriately assigned and progressed.
  • Maintain project trackers, dashboards, action registers, decision logs, stakeholder registers, and other governance tools as required.
  • Support the preparation of regular project status updates, management reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and presentations for internal leadership, project partners, and the GTAA.
  • Monitor key deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and outstanding actions and escalate issues or emerging risks to the appropriate project leads.
  • Coordinate information and inputs across design, construction, operations, communications, and other project functions to support timely decision-making and alignment.
  • Support governance processes, document control, reporting requirements, and adherence to PACT and GTAA protocols.
  • Assist with identifying and tracking project interfaces, stakeholder impacts, constraints, and issues that may affect delivery, operations, or stakeholder relationships.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, workplans, action plans, and engagement plans related to stakeholder-facing activities.
  • Support the development and execution of internal and external communications in alignment with GTAA protocols, approved messaging, and PACT governance requirements.
  • Coordinate with the GTAA communications team and project partners to ensure information is accurate, timely, consistent, and appropriately approved.
  • Prepare and coordinate communications materials, including project updates, bulletins, briefings, construction information, signage, digital content, mitigation materials, and public safety messaging.
  • Support planning and logistics for stakeholder events, open houses, public information sessions, and other engagement activities.
  • Monitor and coordinate stakeholder inquiries and complaints, working with relevant GTAA and PACT teams to facilitate timely and appropriate responses.
  • Draft and organize content for internal and external communications, including reports, editorial content, web updates, and other project communications.
  • Support communications related to construction impacts, project milestones, operational changes, and program progress.

WORKING CONDITIONS
