Job description


The Senior Project Architect / Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients, leading project execution while driving quality design, technical precision, and financial performance. Designed for an experienced architect who excels at combining hands-on technical design with client management and team leadership, this role balances daily project administration with direct engagement throughout every design and construction phase. Operating under the Director of Architecture, the Senior Project Architect manages budgets, resources, and schedules while actively mentoring junior staff, coordinating sub-consultant teams, and upholding the firm's standards across all assigned projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-year Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited NAAB program.
  • 10+ years of full-time professional experience in architectural design, technical documentation, and project administration.
  • Architectural License / Registered Architect status is preferred (a huge plus), but not strictly required.
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD (Required).
  • Working experience in Revit (Preferred).
  • In-depth expertise in architectural detailing, specification writing, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in building code analysis, zoning reviews, and facility assessment reports.
  • Proven experience in Construction Administration (CA) across active project sites.
  • Experience managing project schedules, resource allocation, and fee/budget structures (earned value tracking).
