Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager serves as the operational coordinator supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. This role assists with project documentation, scheduling, procurement coordination, customer communication, financial administration, and project execution to help ensure successful project delivery.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support multiple Project Managers simultaneously across various customer projects.
  • Assist with project startup activities, kickoff meetings, and project documentation.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone tracking, and action item logs.
  • Coordinate customer communications and provide routine project updates.
  • Track procurement activities, vendor deliverables, and project milestones.
  • Manage submittals, documentation, engineering revisions, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, logistics, and project-related scheduling activities.
  • Prepare billing packages and assist with purchase orders, invoices, and change order documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records and support project closeout activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Two (2) or more years of project coordination, project administration, operations, construction, manufacturing, or project support experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or ERP systems is a plus.
