Job description

Position Overview

Minichino Wealth Management, LLC in Branford, CT is hiring a part-time Administrative/Client Service Assistant for their practice. This position is responsible for handling client support, answering general inquiries, researching and resolving client service issues, and preparing required documents. Other duties include compliance support for the office, state licensing support and marketing coordination.

Important Items

·         This position will be working independently for ONE Representative in a small professional office environment

·         Office is conveniently located off I-95 from Exit 55 or 56 (Branford) in a professional office building.

·         Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10-4:30 (approximately 24 hours per week) with 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunch.

·         Business attire required

·         Position does not have any Medical or Dental Benefits

 

Job Duties/Tasks

·         Perform administrative and support functions for the office including maintaining files, preparing correspondence, running reports, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, copying materials, and faxing information.

·         Organize, coordinate, and maintain all client paperwork.

o    Correspond with clients to complete new accounts, asset transfer, and other forms.

·         Handle routine matters for client accounts to include processing name and address changes, account applications, and bank authorizations, answering client questions via telephone and face to face.

·         Research and resolve client service problems by contacting Home Office and Sponsor Companies to resolve problems or errors as needed.

·         Set-up and maintain client management system

·         Provide marketing support for the office to include:

o    Coordinate seminars or client appreciation events

·         Ensure branch office meets Cambridge Investment Research’s compliance requirements

o    Record all transactions on appropriate logs and blotters

o    Set up client files correctly and obtain necessary information

·         Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Position Requirements

·         Business/Finance or Insurance background preferred

·         Proficient in utilizing various software packages such as Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

·         Ability to communicate with clients and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality

·         Ability to manage, organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks

·         Skill in verbal and written communications

·         Skill in operating various office equipment including personal computer, fax machine, copier, etc.

·         Background check and fingerprints required before hire
