Job description

Program:   Pupil Personnel Services
Description:   The School Psychologist will work to enhance students' educational progress. The services of the School Psychologist are delivered as a member of a multidisciplinary team. School psychologists provide a variety of services within the LIU and to constituent districts, which are assignment specific. Generally, duties may include a combination of direct and indirect interactions designed to support the educational progress of students through diagnostic assessment, development of emotional and behavioral improvement plans, counseling activities, regular and special education classroom support as well as participation in building and district-wide initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in School Psychology (REQUIRED)
  • Pennsylvania certification as a School Psychologist PK-12 (REQUIRED)


Terms of Employment/Schedule: Full-time, 200 days/year (primarily follows the traditional school year schedule)
Salary:  Master's Degree (up to 44 credits) starting minimum: $66,511.15, plus excellent benefits.*
(higher placement available for master's degrees with 45+ credits)
