Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Progress OpenEdge DBA with extensive experience in database management. The role involves optimizing database performance, ensuring security, and migrating databases from older versions to newer ones.
Responsibilities:
• Working experience with Progress Database OpenEdge 11.x and 12.x, OpenEdge App Server(desired), PASOE
• Database performance monitoring and optimization tuning (mandatory)
• Experience with database security, encryption. (mandatory)
• Previous experience with migrating OpenEdge Progress Database from 11.x to 12.x. (mandatory)
• Experience analyzing business requirements, generate DB schema recommendations (DBA perspective), create detailed technical designs (mandatory)
• Database Performance tuning experience to reduce DB processing times. (mandatory)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Progress OpenEdge DBA with a minimum of 10Yrs (Level3) on Versions 11x and 12x
• Working experience with Progress Database OpenEdge 11.x and 12.x
• OpenEdge App Server(desired)
• PASOE
• Database performance monitoring and optimization tuning (mandatory)
• Experience with database security, encryption. (mandatory)
• Previous experience with migrating OpenEdge Progress Database from 11.x to 12.x. (mandatory)
• Experience analyzing business requirements, generate DB schema recommendations (DBA perspective), create detailed technical designs (mandatory)
• Database Performance tuning experience to reduce DB processing times. (mandatory)
• Substantial hours overlap to Central/Eastern US time zones.
