Salary: Up to $68,700 annually

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

HANAC, Inc. has served New York City communities since 1972 through senior services, affordable housing, workforce development, and community-based programs.

Position Summary

HANAC is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the Ravenswood Older Adult Center. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, DFTA compliance, program development, community outreach, and budget administration while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to older adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily senior center operations and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote healthy aging.
  • Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Ensure compliance with DFTA requirements and reporting standards.
  • Manage center budgets, purchasing, and operational resources.
  • Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Monitor participation and ensure contract performance goals are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field with two (2) years of experience working with older adults; OR
  • Associate Degree with three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Supervisory and program management experience required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • DFTA experience preferred.
