What we need from you:
• In conjunction with the Lifestyle Director, plans, directs, and manages activity services for memory care unit.
• Participates with Resident Services Director in interview of potential residents and families for memory care placement and provides input into the pre-placement assessment and needs and services plan.
• Supervises and assists in the development and implementation of resident care systems.
• Assures resident care and services meets acceptable standards and follows best practices.
• Communicates resident care needs with Resident Services Director.
• Meets with families or responsible parties regularly, as directed.
Management/Administration
• Creates and maintains appropriate staffing schedules at levels within budget to meet resident needs
• Provides supervision, training, evaluation and discipline of team members to assure proper resident care
• Maintain regulatory compliance with all agencies
• Assures proper documentation meets standards of practice
• Provides dementia specific training to new and existing team members
• Trains new and existing team members in regards to regulatory standards and policy and procedures
