Administrative Program Assistant
Division of Children and Families--Louisiana Supreme Court
The Judicial Administrator's Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court seeks an Administrative Program Assistant to provide specialized administrative and technical support to the Division of Children and Families, reporting to the Deputy Judicial Administrator of the division. Duties include assisting with planning, organizing and the execution of training programs and conferences, assisting with monitoring visits at various Courts, as well as preparing monthly reports and statistics for compliance; creates purchasing requisitions and follows up on the automated purchasing process, serves as a liaison to the Division of Children and Families throughout the state, updates program manuals and distributes as needed and assists with grant duties. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, able to prioritize and keep track of deadlines as well as coordinate a variety of projects across multiple court initiatives. Must also possess excellent writing and organizational skills with a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Some travel is required. Must have a high school diploma and six years of progressively responsible secretarial and administrative support experience. Legal experience and familiarity with the court system is preferred.
