In this role you will be responsible for transportation projects with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

  • Providing project technical leadership role with a team in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection as required.
  • Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases.
  • Regular communications with clients to confirm expectations throughout all project phases.
  • Delivering projects within identified schedules.
  • Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers and technologists.
  • Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.

Does this sound like you?

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution, with key transportation electives or transportation project experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive transportation experience.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Ability to travel within Alberta.
