Job description

Our client is seeking a Robot Field Support Technician to support the daily operation of autonomous robotic systems in an active field environment. This hands-on role works alongside installation crews to monitor robot performance, ensure safe operations, troubleshoot basic issues, and support production activities. The position requires significant walking, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Those who enjoy the outdoors and have basic technical troubleshooting and who are savvy with computers is highly desired!
 

  • Per Diem and Weekly Lodging included for those who live outside the area
  • 6-9 Month Contract plus OT
  • Babbitt, Nevada
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and support robot startup and shutdown activities.
  • Monitor robotic systems for safety, performance, and operability.
  • Assist operators and installation crews with day-to-day robotic operations.
  • Troubleshoot basic system faults and escalate technical issues when necessary.
  • Ensure crews follow established robotic work processes and safety procedures.
  • Document operational issues and help maintain production uptime.
  • Support robot setup, relocation, and operational readiness activities.
  • Participate in training to operate robotic equipment as needed.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and an interest in robotics and automation technologies.
