Job description

We are seeking an Adamah Boston Youth Programming Intern for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is approximately 8-10 hours per week, with a semesterly stipend of $2500. The Intern will report to Noah Weinberg, Adamah Boston Hub Director, and will also work closely with Samm Kaiser, the Jewish Youth Climate Movement Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Boston Regional Board Support

  • Support with the planning and execution of the inaugural Adamah Boston Teen Regional Board
    • Liaise with partners for program planning
    • Organize and procure, as needed, food, materials, and supplies for programs
    • Work with local organizations and partners to recruit teens to attend programs
    • Note: most of the topics for the fall programs have already been decided, but there is room for flexibility (see below)
  • Attend twice-monthly Regional Board programming (once a month virtual, once a month in-person)
  • Support the Adamah Boston Hub Director with program development and execution
  • Hold Regional Board leaders accountable for their work and commitments
  • Attend a biweekly check in with the Adamah Boston Hub Director and when possible, weekly with the national Adamah Youth Movement (AYM) team
  • Attend and support with other Adamah Boston Hub events, as relevant and doable

The current Boston fall program dates are:

  • August 30: Tikkun HaYam Reverse Tashlisch
  • September 28 - October 2 (a weeknight event in this date range, TBD): Sukkot event
  • October 18th: Non-partisan GOTV canvassing
  • November 13th: Eco-Shabbat event at local synagogue
  • December 20th: Chanukah event
  • Virtual meetings will be on the first Sunday of the month, starting in October, likely 7:30-9pm ET

We expect the intern will be available to run programming on these days.ย
