You'll be the technical authority ensuring world-class delivery in mechanical, electrical, IoT, critical environments, fire life safety, and asset lifecycle management while championing innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that set new industry standards.
Reports to: Engineering Director of AMER Technical Services
What will your day-to-day look like?
Lead the AMER technical services delivery for a premier enterprise client account, overseeing comprehensive strategic initiatives in support of facility management operations across regional sub-accounts across the US, Canada, and Latin America. This executive role drives Technology excellence through strategic oversight of facilities engineering (MEP, FLS, Building Automation/IoT, Labs), health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE) programs, quality management, asset lifecycle optimization, sustainability (including refrigerant management) and business continuity planning while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting mission-critical environments.
This role offers the opportunity to shape technical services strategy for a flagship global account while leading a high-performing team across diverse, specialized functions. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with deep operational expertise to deliver exceptional client outcomes in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Account Management
  • Serve as senior technical advisor to client leadership, building trusted relationships and driving strategic initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Develop and execute comprehensive technical services strategy across all regional sub-accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational standards
  • Partner with regional account teams to identify growth opportunities and expand service offerings within existing portfolio
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and technical performance assessments with client stakeholders
  • Sponsor and/or lead up-to 20 account plan initiatives

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
  • Oversee AMER BCP and HSSE programs including the development and implementation of a robust MOP and Work Approval program, a standard Incident Response program utilizing AAR and RCCA methodologies to drive learning and improvement, and ensuring compliance with our JLL Client Assurance Program, local regulations, and international standards, while maintaining zero-harm workplace culture
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing innovative solutions, leveraging JLL tools and technologies, consolidating vendors, standardizing processes, and expanding service scope.
  • Optimize asset management strategies through advanced CMMS implementation, predictive maintenance programs, and lifecycle planning
  • Ensure seamless delivery for Technical Services Strategic Programs while driving compliance with KPIs, utilization of metrics, service level requirements, and client methodologies

Specialized Technical Services
  • Oversee Technical Services support for clients Building Operating System (BOS) program including network security remediation projects, managing network security compliance in operations, device network connectivity, BMS remote monitoring and control, and Fault Detect and Diagnostics capabilities
  • Direct technical support for establishing new laboratory environments (intake processes, development of asset infrastructure databases) and provision of standard and enhanced (specialized expertise) operational support models.
  • Lead complex technical capital and operations projects review program (including Project Briefs, Designs, Commissioning Plans, and Handoff requirements) for new facilities, facility upgrades, system integrations, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to direct reports managing HSSE, Quality, Asset Management, Business Continuity Planning, and BOS Compliance functions
  • Foster collaborative culture focused on innovation, client service excellence, and professional development
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks across all technical service areas
  • Drive knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across regional teams

Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, CPE, or equivalent strongly preferred
  • OSHA, environmental, or safety management certifications advantageous

Experience
  • Minimum 15 years progressive experience in facilities management, technical services, or related field
  • 7+ years in senior leadership roles managing complex, multi-regional accounts
  • Proven track record in global account management with P&L responsibility
  • Experience with enterprise-level CMMS platforms and asset management strategies
  • Background in regulated environments (laboratories, healthcare, manufacturing, or data centers)

Technical Competencies
  • Deep understanding of HSSE regulations and best practices across multiple jurisdictions
  • Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma methodologies)
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems, automation technologies, and critical environment requirements
  • Experience with business continuity planning and risk management frameworks
  • Proficiency in data analytics and performance measurement tools

Estimated compensation for this position:
240,375.00 - 318,750.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
