Job DescriptionOverview

AtkinsRealis' is hiring a Project Coordinator, Structures based out of our Vancouver office. The Project Coordinator, Structures will support various projects based in British Columbia and across Canada.

This position requires a strong understanding of project coordination principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your role
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work of the contractor
  • Organizing, coordinating, and leading regular meetings with the contractor and client
  • Manage punch lists and quality documentation as required
  • Coordinate and assist in safe workplace practices, manage safety incentives, and encourage staff in meeting KPIs
  • Review and comment on drawings and submittals where appropriate
  • Coordinate and interface between the constructor and the designer
  • Assist the team with the preparation of construction estimates
  • Assist in providing the site progress data
  • Assist Project Manager with coordinator and field duties
  • Support in the production of the weekly and monthly reports.
About you
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction or related field or a combination of equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of proven experience directly related major large scale construction projects
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multidisciplinary coordination capability
  • Exposure to working on multi-disciplinary construction sites
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizing abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $100,000 - $137,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
