About the Role

Stocks General Contractors is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer to support our underground utility and civil construction projects.
This role is essential to maintaining organization, communication, and accountability across active projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
What You’ll Do
● Coordinate communication between project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
● Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
● Track project schedules, progress, and key milestones
● Support cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
● Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status
● Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
● Maintain accurate and organized project records

What We’re Looking For

● 2+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
● Strong communication and problem-solving skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

● Experience in civil construction or underground utilities
● Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation
● Experience with Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Education

● Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

● Equivalent construction experience
