GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:
Under general supervision, supports the engineering team by providing technical assistance, assisting with project activities, and performing various technical and administrative tasks. Prepare engineering drawings, conduct research and review for construction and engineering design or external project submittal for review.

Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assist engineers in the design and development of engineering projects.
  2. Assist with preparation of technical documentation, including reports, specifications and manuals.
  3. Conducts base level research and gathers data to support engineering analyses and project decisions.
  4. Process and review engineering permits, designs and calculations.
  5. Participate in project meetings, taking notes and tracking action items.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project updates.
  7. Scan engineering files and perform other administrative tasks.
