This position is hybrid in either our Cincinnati, OH, Atlanta, GA or our Denver, CO office 3 days per week OR fully remote in the United States if not located within 1 hour commute to a Worldpay office.

What you'll own

  • Ensures issues including large tuning opportunities and capital needs for capacity increases are escalated appropriately to management. Provides daily support for data collection process. 24x7 on-call support of data collection process

  • Performs work as a project team member for technical or operational projects.

  • Ability to react quickly and appropriately to operational exceptions such as needed reports

  • Performs troubleshooting, diagnoses and repair of report job issues

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)

  • Meets commitments and provides excellent customer service at all times with internal and external clients. Provides detailed status reports (written and/or verbal) of tasks and difficulties encountered enabling managers to initiate escalation if necessary and assess areas where changes or additional support may be warranted.

What you'll bring

  • 9 to 12 years of experience in Mainframe Capacity Planner

  • IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS - Advanced analysis and visualization of SMF and RMF data.

  • Identification of MSU, CPU, I/O, and storage capacity drivers.

  • IBM SMF (System Management Facilities) - Primary source for workload, CPU/MSU, memory, I/O, and subsystem usage data.

  • IBM CP3000 - CPU capacity planning and modeling for workload growth and hardware scenarios.

  • Capacity on Demand (CoD) and active management of Rolling 4-Hour Average (R4HA) and MSU caps to control software licensing costs.

  • Willing to work in daily support for data collection process and 24x7 on-call support for data collection process approximately once every 6 weeks

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e.,waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
