Job description

Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer and Set Up Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality machined components. Additionally, experience machining castings and forgings, fixture design and CAD programming experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Set up and program CNC machines to produce high-quality machined components in a timely and efficient manner.
Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions of machined components.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate machining process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer and Set Up Machinist
Experience with Fanuc Controls.
High focus on quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction
Experience with Mazatrol, Fusion 360 and/or CAD programming is a plus.
Experience machining castings, forgings, and various bar stock metals for production as well as prototype scenarios.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
An interest and ability to design fixtures to optimize efficiency of production jobs.
Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
