Job description

This company located in Chino, CA has been in the business since 2006 supporting aerospace and medical industries across the country. With plans to upgrade machinery, their 5,000 sq. ft. facility employees about 15 people and houses about 20 CNC machines
In this position, the Lathe Programmer will work on set up, operation, and programming of 3 lathes, including live tooling.
 
This is a 1st shift position with flexible hours and ample overtime.

Responsibilities:
  • Program parts on MasterCAM
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes for short run, complex parts
  • Edit programs at the machine
  • Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications
  • Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions
  • Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc
  • Perform daily maintenance of machines and/or troubleshooting
  • Ensure safety and ISO9001/AS9100 standards
Qualifications:
  • CNC Programming experience (MasterCAM)
  • Previous experience in setting up and operating CNC lathe machines
  • G & M Code experience 
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and shop procedures 
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
