OVERVIEW: The Spa Programmer/Key is responsible for orientating guests to the Spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the facilities and providing personal guest service. They are responsible for keeping all of the Spa lounge areas neat, cleaned, stocked and organized. Also, with assisting the Spa Providers in certain tasks in high season, to ensure a smooth and organized operation. This position also is responsible for working in the Spa Garden, which is an outdoor area for our members to enjoy. Here in the Lifestyle and Wellness Department, all our employees work as a team. All employees may be asked and must be willing to help in all other areas including Fitness and/or Aquatics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be on time for your shift.
• Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to guests and then escort guests to their lockers.
• Provide orientation tour, explaining Spa amenities offered and answering guests' questions.
• Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Spa. Including but not limited to Holiday's, Weekend's, and opening or closing shifts.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa's policies and procedures.
• Review and update guest appointment/schedules as needed.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
• Be willing and able to work in the Spa Garden. This may include, but is not limited to, cleaning, restocking, setting up lounge chairs and assisting Member's in food and drink orders.
• Maintain eye contact when addressing Members.
• Perform opening, closing and side duties. Restock and clean all areas as needed. Assist in any and all ways as asked of the Spa Supervisor and Spa Manager.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.
• Actively promote the Spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Spa.
• Assist in all areas of the Lifestyle and Wellness department as requested by management, including the Fitness and Aquatics Departments.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.
• Able to assist in any Member Events including (but not limited to) Fun Run's, Member Events, Pop Up Shops, Trunk Shows and services in our Outdoor Spa Garden, as asked by management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

Shift Requirements - Spa Operating Hours are currently 9:00am - 7:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am - 6:00pm Friday through Sunday (these hours may change at any time:
§ Full Time -
o At least 30 hours a week, depending on season and to maintain benefits.
o 4 - 5 shifts per week, ranging from 6 to 8 hour shifts.
o At least 2 shifts being weekend days, which include Friday, Saturday and or Sunday.
§ Part Time -
o Required hours range from 12 - 30 per week, depending on season.
o Requires 2 shifts per week, ranging from 6 - 8 hour shifts.
o One shift must be a weekend day, which includes Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
§ The Spa at Boca West also has blackout dates, where not time off is permitted.
