We are continuing to grow and are adding Software Engineers (Python / React) to our team!

This person will work closely with our customers to build best-in-class enterprise web applications using modern Python backend technologies and React-based front-end frameworks. You will be a part of a thriving technical community, giving you the opportunity to constantly grow your development amongst top technical talent. SDG is looking for a hard worker with a team-oriented mindset, leadership experience, and has at least 5 years of experience working across full-stack technologies. A successful Software Engineer at SDG is a lifelong learner who is motivated to continually improve their craft and thrives amongst their fellow employee-owners.

SDGโ€™s Software Engineers have experience with a handful of the following technologies. If you have them too, we want to hear from you:
  • Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
  • React / JavaScript / TypeScript
  • RESTful APIs & Microservices architectures
  • GraphQL (nice to have)
  • Serverless Architectures
  • AWS / Azure / GCP
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Container based architectures, Docker, Kubernetes or similar
  • Messsaging/Event Based systems, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
  • Relational and Non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Agile / SCRUM / TDD
  • Git / Atlassian Suite
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with Python (backend development)
  • Strong experience building modern UIs using React
  • Experience building and consuming APIs and microservices
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) to increase development velocity, improve code quality, and support complex problem-solving
  • Experience delivering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
