Job description

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Full Time Regular Programmer position should possess excellent technical skills and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. They must be a proficient problem solver with specialized expertise in HVAC Controls and Building Automation programming, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that enhance building performance and energy efficiency .
Work Experience
  • At least one (1) year of work-related experience in a relevant field (Robotics, PLC, Machining, Software) or at least three (3) years of work-related experience in graphic design.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
  • Basic experience with programming languages or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision while gaining independence with experience.

Additional skills preferred but not required
  • One (1) years of experience as an HVAC controls technician or one (1) years of experience as an HVAC controls programmer.
  • One (1) years of experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation, I/A Series, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
  • EcoStruxure Building Operation Certification.
  • Experience with Building Automation Protocols including LON, BACnet, and Modbus.
  • An associate's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, graphic design or related.
