Position Overview

Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC lathe programming, setup, and operation. Familiarity with HAAS Mills and Lathes, as well as vertical lathes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently. Experience with precision measuring tools and techniques.

Job Description and Job Duties:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in programming and the operation of CNC lathes for PRODUCTION runs and PROTOTYPING.
  • Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
  • Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Maintain a positive attitude. Be a team leader and team player. Keep clean and organized work area.
