Essential Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Read and interpret AV systems drawings
โ€ข Gather programming requirements
โ€ข Produce new modules and interfaces
โ€ข Control System programming design to meet requirements and system capabilities
โ€ข User Interface programming to meet requirements and system capabilities
โ€ข Install control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems
โ€ข Mentor Jr. Programmers
โ€ข Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code
โ€ข Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed
โ€ข Demonstrate completed system to client
โ€ข Create programming-related documentation
โ€ข Maintain and update programming and code in installed systems
โ€ข Maintain control code in version control repository
โ€ข Travel to various job sites required
Other duties assigned as needed
Skills and Abilities
โ€ข Proficient with test and calibration equipment
โ€ข Proficient in programming languages
โ€ข Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems
โ€ข Proficient in control system design (Crestron/AMX/Extron)
โ€ข Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleagues
โ€ข Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems
โ€ข Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipment

โ€ข CTI-P101 or AMX Control Programmer 1 training
โ€ข Two yearsโ€™ experience as an AVI-SPL Jr. Programmer or three years similar experience outside of AVI-SPL
