Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary

Performs assignments, which require the application of engineering education, training or experience and special knowledge or judgment of the mathematical, physical, or engineering sciences.  Assignments are designed to further develop the incumbent's job knowledge and abilities.  Practices applying engineering principles in discipline of competency.  Demonstrates a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities.  Performs detailed phases of design engineering work for projects of moderate size/complexity in one discipline.  Keeps supervisor informed of progress.

Responsibilities

***Candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities:

Prepares advanced specifications detailing performance requirements, specific components, design requirements, applicable design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.

Visits vendor facilities to inspect equipment for compliance with requirements. Visits jobsites to evaluate site, project requirements, and conditions.

Mentors less experienced engineers, designers, and drafters. Supervises design personnel and other staff specialists.  Participates in sales presentations.

Determines client requirements and develops specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents.

Prepares inquiry and purchase requisitions. Prepares bid tabulations on simple purchases.  Reviews vendor drawings for major components.

Develops a focus on least cost, safe design. Actively involved in maintaining the schedule and budget of assigned projects.

Meets company quality assurance requirements.

Supports field assignments as required.

Qualifications

11-15 years of experience related to oil, gas, or petrochemicals.

Professional Engineering license.

Education Requirements

Required: BS in Engineering (or higher) from ABET accredited Institution.

Preferred: Master's degree or higher.
