Job Summary:
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking an Analyst Programmer III to support the technology needs of the Alaska State Legislature. The role involves maintaining stable applications, developing software improvements, and collaborating with a team to enhance legislative processes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with stakeholders responsible for drafting and editing work flow processes used for bill production.
โ€ข Analyze software requirements, evaluate systems and suggest improvements
โ€ข Develop and implement software improvements
โ€ข Access/SQL database maintenance
โ€ข Work as a member of the programming team
โ€ข Ability to maintain confidentiality in a politically sensitive environment
โ€ข Work closely with customers to find solutions to their needs
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Two years of computer programming experience in a recognized computer language.
โ€ข One year of this experience must have been in a business application, scientific application, microcomputer or computer information management support specialty.
โ€ข Exceptional oral communication and customer service skills.
โ€ข Ability to maintain confidentiality in a politically sensitive environment.
