You'll oversee teams, resources, and processes to ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals are met while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. Your work directly impacts national defense programs and the next generation of hypersonic vehicles.
In this role, you will:
Lead the shaping and development of the production activity for all production programs
Establish personnel, equipment, and facility resources needed for execution.
Establish and cultivate relationships with all programs and functional leadership at the Huntsville Site to ensure achievement for all program objectives.
Institutionalize focused execution of standard processes and ensure best practices are communicated and utilized.
Drive affordability and commonality initiatives which will reduce test cycle time, generate program reserve, and assure future program awards, including adoption of enterprise-wide production best practices.
Ensure Production team is staffed, ready, and executing on cost and schedule.
Serve as the spokesperson for the organization relating on significant matters relating to production operations
The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
React quickly under pressure, dealing with a broad customer base.
Make decisions that affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization.
Work under long range goals and objectives.
Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity while effectively identify, manage, mitigate, and control risk.
