Summary

Are you an innovator with a love for curating iconic listener experiences on the air, online and on social media? Is your life a mix of music, entertainment and community spirit? We are looking for someone to help elevate our radio stations to the next level! Curate compelling and engaging on-air content; develop unique promotional opportunities; execute social media campaigns; take an established brand and continue its local engagement and more!ย 

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and implement programming strategies to increase listening occasions and station ratings

Perform on-air duties during designated show times each day.ย 

Collaborate with the sales team to create customized on-air and digital marketing solutions for local and/or national clients

Oversee music selection, playlist management, and music scheduling software

Help coordinate live events, concerts, and promotions including logistics, marketing, and execution

Super serve the local community with content, branding and promotions

Analyze market trends and listener feedback to enhance the brand

Maintain a strong online presence, including social media and website management

ย Strong writing and production skills, with the ability to create compelling, on-brand station imaging station imaging, promos, sweepers, and other audio that cuts through and connects with listeners.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of experience in radio programming, preferably in a similar market size

Proven track record of success in increasing station market visibility and revenue growth

Strong knowledge of the country format (WUBB). (Top 40/R is a plus)ย 

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Proficiency in radio software, including music scheduling and automation systems
