Job description

Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) paid media team is looking for a Principal Marketing Manager, Display & Video. You’ll develop digital video and display strategy, test aggressively and scale initiatives to drive brand and acquisition marketing objectives. You'll combine deep platform craft with a forward view of where programmatic is heading: automation evolution, agentic-buying, growing signal constraints, supply path optimization, and CTV expansion. This role is for someone who wants to stay close to the buying while shaping how we adopt what's next.

Beyond campaign management, this role requires exceptionally strong collaboration skills. You’ll work closely with agency and channel peers to maximize overall media performance while cross-functionally partnering across the larger organization with an emphasis on teamwork, education and storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign ownership: including strategy, pacing, bid and budget management, and daily optimization across programmatic display, online video, and connected TV (CTV).

  • Drive performance and efficiency through continuous optimization including campaign structure, audience strategy, bidding, creative rotation and supply-path decisions.

  • Adopt and drive AI-assisted and agentic buying by utilizing AI and emerging agentic tools to plan, activate, optimize, and report while applying judgment to set clear goals, QA guardrails, and spend controls.

  • Scale CTV and streaming buying across the major streaming ad platforms using curation and programmatic guaranteed deals for premium inventory, manage cross-screen reach and frequency, and navigate CTV's distinct measurement realities.

  • Manage supply quality and cost through supply-path optimization (SPO), curated marketplaces, and PMP/programmatic guaranteed deals and applying pre-bid filtering to avoid made-for-advertising (MFA) inventory and protect brand suitability.

  • Work closely with internal data science team to measure what matters, looking beyond last-click and platform-reported numbers focusing on incrementality tests, geo experiments, media mix modeling (MMM) inputs, and attention metrics.

  • Partner closely with peers across paid social, search, brand, web, lifecycle, and analytics to coordinate audiences, creative, and full-funnel strategy. This role succeeds through influence and teamwork.

  • Report results by translating performance into concise, actionable insight and recommendations for cross-functional and leadership audiences.

  • Work closely with critical media partners for joint roadmapping, testing agendas and overall Joint Business Partnership development.

  • Manage agency partners on plan development, campaign execution, performance optimization and reporting/storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of programmatic buying experience (agency or in-house) with a focus on paid performance and new customer acquisition. B2B SaaS experience preferred.

  • You are passionate about the programmatic media craft. You are detail oriented and operate with a bias for action.

  • Thrive working collaboratively in a cross-channel paid media team and can drive recommendations, articulate trade-offs, and align peers without formal authority.

  • Strong storytelling skills including the ability to report on and translate data/results to wide-ranging audiences and seniorities.

  • Fluent in applying AI to media buying and creative bringing a point of view on governing automated and agentic systems including setting objectives and guardrails, QA-ing AI-driven decisions and keeping black-box products accountable to business outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of measurement approaches beyond standard attribution including incrementality testing, geo experiments, MMM inputs, and attention metrics.

  • Experience with ad verification, brand safety/suitability, and MFA avoidance tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat).

  • Can move fluidly between the details of execution and higher-level strategy.

  • Hands-on experience with primary DSPs and ad formats (e.g., Google DV360, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and Amazon DSP) including programmatic video and CTV.

  • You have experience operating in a privacy-first data activation environment including data clean rooms, deterministic identity solutions (e.g., UID2, RampID), contextual targeting, and consent/server-side data practices.
