Job description

Schedule: Monday-Thursday Night shift (

5:00pm-3:00am).

What Will You Be Doing?

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the bottling equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting the production technicians with breakdowns and new installations as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills

  • Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required

  • Ability to work 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, on night shift with overtime on Fridays as necessary

    • Nights: 5:00pm-3:00am
  • Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues

  • Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred

  • Associate's or technical degree, preferred

  • Preventive Maintenance & Inspection
  • Maintenance and Repair Skills
