Job description

PLC Controls Engineer II implements electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. 

The Engineer provides planning, reporting and management of the electrical project, in addition to technical implementation. Takes full ownership of the electrical project elements and executes and/or delegate individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on site may include other Electrical Project Engineers. The Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture and manages the scope, budget, schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle. 

You will report directly to our Software Engineer Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, Ohio location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Controls Engineering Experience in a similar role
  • Leadership experience (Project Lead, Project Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up 60-70% of the time

  • Assess programming and commissioning methods to ensure development of standard coding are
  • met with Intelligrated standards.
  • Executes all test plans on-site, both internal and customer acceptance/BUAT/UAT/FAT
  • Monitors and works from project tasks lists and timelines; reports progress on a regular basis
