About McIntosh Trail At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. Summary Under general supervision, performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical and administrative support functions/ processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel. May enter data and / or process documents and records. The work includes operating standard office equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor. Responsibilities Greeting of clients. Answering of telephones in a timely manner. Providing paperwork for individuals to complete. Be able to provide basic overview of services to individuals. Reviewing insurance, authorizations and collect appropriate fees from clients. Review paperwork for completion and accuracy. Explains fees, HIPPA laws and consumers' rights to new clients. Entering information and scheduling into electronic health records. Ensure that all medical and clinical schedules remain full. Mail no show letters and document missed appointments in electronic health record via a non- billable progress note. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Scanning medical records into clients' files in a time period established by Office Manager and Center Director. Follow guidelines of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) established by the state of Georgia. Assist with Health and Safety duties as directed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED AND two years of general office or administrative experience Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia's Driver's License. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs. sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), overhead reaching.
