Job description

A part-time, on-call Security Representative role in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle.  The Security Representative will maintain a safe environment for both guests and employees at the winery.

This is a part-time, on-call position that requires availability from 9:00pm to 7:00am.  This on-call role requires availability to be able to commit to 2 weekend shifts a month, as well as one employee training meeting each quarter.  This role will support coverage for planned or unplanned time off and may require availability to fill in as needed.

Security Representative job responsibilities include:

  • Conduct patrols and security checks of the winery grounds and buildings.
  • Crowd control and policy enforcement during events.
  • Responsible for incident reporting and the consistent enforcement of organizational policies.
  • Answering the security phone and receiving banquet deliveries.
  • Assigning temporary badges to employees and contractors when necessary.
  • Support a 24/7 operational need and be assigned a weekend/nightshift position
  • Basic computer skills to maintain logs and reports.
  • Be able to learn security system software programs
  • Be friendly and courteous while interacting with a wide variety of personalities in a polite and professional manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to work in various weather conditions.

    Position Requirements:

    • Must be 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
    • MAST 12 Class Permit required.
    • Valid Driver’s License is required.
    • Safety and security experience with First Aid/CPR/AED training is preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality.
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
    • Ability to work independently and productively.
    • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

    Your Compensation: 

    $17.22 - $23.36 per hour based upon relevant experience.
