As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:

Manage and support ongoing renovations of the existing facility which continue to drive more project and operations / maintenance work requiring management level attention

  • Identify work requiring engineering and design and review with proper entities.

  • Develops full scope and extent of work required, including cost and time required, to conduct the relevant repair, preventive, predictive, and improvement maintenance activities of facilities projects.

  • Coordinate resources, service providers, and vendors.

  • Plan and manage small projects.

  • Improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination (scheduling) of subcontractor labor, parts and material, tools and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation, and equipment access.

  • Manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient work control plan.

  • Coordination of work efforts between Pfizer, Amentum, and the Science Line

  • Maintaining consistent communication with management and client on key issues, potential client issues, approach to resolutions, and quickly addressing any issues with an action plan.

  • Supporting and/or conducting formal presentations to clients and management.

  • Identifying potential project problems or opportunities, analyzing the issues using all appropriate resources, developing alternatives, and arriving at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.

  • Providing support to building operations and maintenance teams through developing strategies that help create processes and programs able to sustain low operating costs.

  • Performing evaluations and training teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce operating/ maintenance costs, and reduce system failures.

  • Supporting the Facility Program Manager and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related client sites.

  • Supporting maintenance of operations for critical building mechanical support systems.

  • Managing consistent daily communication with customer and contract Program Manager, with an action plan on resolutions.

  • Projecting continuous improvement in support of budgetary initiatives.

  • Providing safety leadership in support of an accident-free workplace through planning tools and use of JHA's, THA's, LOTO, hot work, and other established safety programs.

  • Coordinate - Needs for New Project / Equipment / Service

  • Provide labor estimates on variables

  • Obtain quotes - subcontractors / materials

  • Source Equipment / Parts

  • Develop / Introduce Process Improvements

  • Coordinate / Manage Critical Repairs by Vendor

New Facility Design Review

  • Review Plans - List Concerns - Alternatives / Solutions

  • Take Part in Commissioning of New Area and Equipment

  • Create Punch Lists - Issues Found During Commissioning

  • Create PM Schedule for New Assets

As the Project Supervisor, you will be expected to:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Facility/ Management, Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience in process or production maintenance - OR - 8 years of experience in industrial facilities or production maintenance related work.

  • In addition to education/experience, 5 years of progressive career experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research & development facility maintenance.

  • Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.

  • Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.

  • Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.

  • Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.

  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

Some physical requirements include:

  • Ability to walk throughout diverse work environments.

  • Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions.

  • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses.

  • Experience utilizing a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).

  • Predictive maintenance experience, life cycle studies, knowledge of reliability maintenance programs, incident reports, and root cause analysis.

Compensation Details:

130,000-145,000
