SUMMARY:

This client facing position is responsible for following project management processes and procedures for medium to large scale IT projects. This includes gathering project teams, identifying needed resources, managing responsibilities, and developing requirements necessary for successful project completion. This includes working closely with all practical areas within IT and the business to coordinate processes that provide effective and timely results to business and technical solutions.

This position is a full-time FLSA position and requires a minimum of 40 hours a week. You will be able to work remote 75% of the time and be expected to be on the client site 25% of the time. Possible night and weekend work might be needed based on project deployment. ย 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Become a key point of contact for customers during all project engagements.
  • Set expectations and drive projects to conclusion with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage medium to large scale IT Infrastructure projects using strong facilitation skills, which includes supporting existing project management approaches, standards, processes and metrics for IT projects.
  • Develop project scope of work, base design, objectives, detailed work plans, resource plans, budget, communications, and status reports.
  • Manage project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and checking work efforts using strong facilitation skills on a continuous basis, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Manage all project resources, internal and external, and may include resources from IT and business, and external contractors.
  • Commission and decommission of IT software.
  • Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources accordingly to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhering to high-quality standards and scope.
  • Successfully promotes momentum, enthusiasm, and pride within the project team, contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Financial controls of IT budgets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent IT project management experience.ย 
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies. Agile project management experience is a bonus.
  • Experience running a complex set of software deliverables with many interdependencies and have a successful track record as a great partner within teams and across organizations in engineering, design, and leadership.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires extensive communication internally and externally through email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Proactive and able to work under minimal direction at a detailed level while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.
  • Can coordinate multiple projects across multiple locations.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Good at status reporting, updating internal reports.
  • Running and managing meetings via Teams and Zoom.
  • Software knowledge: Office 365, Excel, Workbench
  • Bonus if you are familiar with Clarity software.
  • Must have a valid driversโ€™ license and reliable transportation to get to and from client sites.
