Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program / Project Manager (TPM) specializing in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning initiatives to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will lead end-to-end technical execution, program governance, and deployment of cutting-edge AI capabilities-including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), automated decisioning engines, and enterprise data integrations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical fluency in AI lifecycle management, proven cross-functional leadership across complex engineering teams, and a deep understanding of financial services/fintech governance and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • AI Program Delivery: Lead large-scale, cross-functional technical programs to deploy AI/ML platforms, LLM integrations, Custom GPTs, and automated workflows into enterprise environments.

  • Roadmap & Dependency Management: Translate strategic AI initiatives into structured technical roadmaps, milestones, sprint backlogs, and release schedules while managing cross-team dependencies and risk mitigations.

  • Technical Governance & Compliance: Partner with Risk, Information Security, Data Privacy, and Architecture teams to ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory standards and enterprise risk guidelines.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate communication between AI engineering, data science, product management, and executive business leaders, converting technical complexity into clear progress metrics and KPIs.

  • Agile Execution: Drive Agile/SAFe ceremonies (Program Increment planning, backlog grooming, retrospective sessions, and sprint tracking) using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 6+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience overseeing complex software development and technical infrastructure deployments.

  • AI & Machine Learning Domain Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing projects involving AI/ML infrastructure, LLMs, NLP, predictive analytics, or Generative AI tools.

  • Methodologies & Tools: Proficiency with Agile/Scrum/SAFe framework, Jira, Confluence, and executive reporting platforms.

  • Location: Must be based in or willing to work onsite/hybrid in Phoenix, AZ.
