We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be based on-site in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be a member of our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team concentrating on healthcare projects. This client facing role is a great opportunity for you to work on a range of projects and expand your knowledge base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project management team with various parts of the project such as constructability review, value engineering, pay app reviews, schedule development, FF&E program development and execution.
  • Assist in formulating the design, bid, and project phase of scheduling.
  • Assist in the Addenda and Bid process.
  • Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.
  • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
  • Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented.
  • Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy.
  • Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager.
  • Perform QA/QC process.
  • Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards.
  • Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team.
  • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
  • Review and maintain As Built drawings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field

The salary range for this full-time role is $68,500.00-$91,366.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
