Requirements
The Specialties Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of Division 10 specialty construction scope, including restroom accessories, lockers, signage, fire extinguishers and cabinets, toilet partitions, visual display boards, and other specialties. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contract specifications and company quality standards.
Job requirements are as follows:
  • Completing projects on time, within budget, and most importantly, satisfying our customers.
  • Communicate accurately and in a timely manner with all departments within Nycom.
  • Capable of understanding architectural plans and specifications; analyzing project scope; scheduling; purchasing; vendor follow-up; submittals; change orders; project close-out.
  • Degree from a 4-year college, with preference given to Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
  • Ability to learn and use construction-related software and digital tools, including common office computer applications.
  • Experience in construction specialties is highly desired.
