CRH's Americas Materials division is the leading integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mixed concrete and paving and construction services in North America. Position Overview

CRH Americas Materials currently has ~15 different ERP systems (from two separate software vendors - SAP and Viewpoint) and is on a transformational journey to move to a single ERP environment with standardized business processes across the company. This will be a multi-year program with complex change management and implementation plans.

The Sr. IT Project Manager Cutover Lead is a key role in this transformation and will develop and manage cutover tasks for multiple workstreams into an integrated cutover plan for the successful go-live of multiple SAP S4 Hanna implementation waves. ย This role will manage activities to successfully navigate cross-workstream interdependencies to ensure timely completion all go-live activities for each implementation wave.

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Plan, schedule and track project cutover timelines, resources, milestones and deliverables using program/project management tools and best practices.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support cutover business goals in collaboration with senior management, project leads, project managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage full-scale project cutover plans and assist with communications documents for all assigned projects.
  • Set, communicate and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders in a timely, clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct project cutover closing and create lessons learned documentation identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Identify and manage project cutover dependencies and critical path issues/risks.
  • Identify any issues/risks to program/project success and develop mitigation plans to manage them throughout the cutover cycle.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the program and any related projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualificationsย 

Education/Experience

  • 10+ years of experience working on SAP IT projects
  • 5+ years working on SAP cutover implementations
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent technical Degree
  • Experience working in complex, distributed businesses preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
    CSM โ€“ Certified Scrum Master preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (average 40% but will be higher during key project milestones such as User Acceptance Testing, Go-Live)
  • Overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Hybrid work schedule and ability to come to the office at least 3 times a week, but could be higher during peak periods.

Work Environment

  • Office work environment including equipment such as computer, and projector
