Project/Program Manager
Aversan Inc.(www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Project/Program Manager to join our team. As an Industrial Project Manager / Continuous Improvement, you will use your project management skills to coordinate, plan, execute manufacturing and/or industrial logistics projects ensuring that health and safety rules are respected and that risks are eliminated.
Location: St-Laurent, Quebec
Job Type: On-site 4 days a week and 1 day remoteResponsibilities
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by relying on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking and Agile concepts.
  • Implement improvement- projects, define and monitor the evolution of your projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Assume responsibility for the budget for large-scale projects of up to 1 million dollars.
  • Take responsibility for the schedule.
  • Be responsible for investing in and replacing obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.
  • Provide financial (Business) and technical justification for the definition and operation of the project.
  • Work with resources.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial.
  • Project management PMP, PMI-ACP certification (asset)
  • Knowledge of logistics.
  • Activities Six Sigma Certification Green Belt (asset)
  • Top 3 must have skills: Lean manufacturing: 5S, Project Management and strong communication skills.
  • Top 3 Nice to have skills: Knowledge of change, Management strategies already evolved in a unionized environment and experience in a plant transformation: improvement projects.
