Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with a major corporation in Orlando, FL - On-site 4 days per week, Fridays remote.
Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company''s premier vacation brands. We deliver experiences to consumers through our Parks & Resorts worldwide, Cruise Lines, and Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business. This role sits in the Portfolio and Strategic Enablement (PSE) organization for DXT supporting the Project Management Center of Excellence (COE).
As a Tech Project Manager, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Our team provides services to the larger DXT organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship and partnership building acumen, analytical skills, demonstrate excellent collaboration abilities, and effectively engage at various levels within the organization. Furthermore, they should be able to translate data into compelling narratives and operate with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Job Description:

  • Foster strong partnerships with leaders, portfolio teams, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to support successful project and program delivery.
  • Translate business objectives, project data, and stakeholder needs into clear narratives, recommendations, and executive-level communications.
  • Identify, plan, and coordinate related projects within a program, managing interdependencies in support of business strategies, strategic plans, and product roadmaps.
  • Implement program goals, objectives, and delivery plans to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate execution of program objectives, ensuring tasks, milestones, schedules, and target dates are effectively managed.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders, leadership, and executive audiences to communicate status, gather input, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
  • Prepare and deliver program/project communications, presentations, and reports for executive leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, support, and related teams to maintain understanding of capabilities, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program/project activities.
  • Provide input, feedback, and guidance to program team members to support collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Gain and apply knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance stakeholder collaboration, communication, and achievement of shared objectives.
  • Support stakeholder orientation, readiness, and training in accordance with organizational standards.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Program/Project management experience (such as: Project Lead, SCRUM Master, Agile Coach) working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing projects within a program and working seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to influence discussions to achieve a favorable outcome for both parties.
  • Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to performing above expectations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical project management experience in software development
  • Previous work with a PMO
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Agile Certifications (CSM; ACP; CSPO; SAFe; LeSS)


Required Education:

  • Bachelor''s degree in information technology, Business or related field
