Job description

Objective/Purpose
  • Own development and execution of program-level Drug Substance/Drug Product (DS/DP) production plans for clinical portfolio, aligning to demand, manufacturing constraints, and supply continuity.
  • Translate cross-functional inputs into feasible, risk-managed, decision-ready plans for governance forums.
  • Apply standardized planning rules and continuously improve planning practices.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated DS/DP production plans for assigned programs/assets.
  • Convert demand signals, technical inputs, and network constraints into production plans, scenarios, and inventory strategies.
  • Create alternative scenarios to evaluate timing, capacity, inventory, and cost tradeoffs.
  • Identify, quantify, and communicate supply risks and mitigation strategies; incorporate agreed actions.
  • Align CMC, CDMO managers, and GCSC planners on assumptions, actions, and execution priorities.
  • Prepare governance/escalation/decision-support materials.
  • Monitor execution vs. plan; adjust proactively to maintain supply continuity.
  • Drive adoption of standardized planning practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations/Pharmacy/Business or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
  • 6+ years relevant experience in pharma/biotech clinical manufacturing, supply planning, CMC, or contract manufacturing (preferred).
  • Regulated‑environment experience with production planning, supply scenarios, inventory strategies, and demand/supply balancing.
Skills
  • DS/DP planning principles; scenario modeling; risk‑based planning.
  • GxP knowledge (GMP/GDP/GCP considerations).
  • Strong analytical/quantitative, communication/presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple moderate‑complexity projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications (APICS/CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
