About the role

The Business Planning Manager is responsible for facilitating the business planning process across the business unit and driving process alignment to the Business Unit strategic priorities. 


Responsibilities
  • Work with Product Management to adjust longterm forecast volumes to optimize manufacturing and operations capacity.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM) process.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations and planning to identify production bottlenecks and recommend actions for both planned and unplanned supply-chain changes.
  • Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure plants meet customer demand within promised lead times.
  • Plan and support the RRM process with stakeholders across the Commercial & Industrial business unit, supply chain, and factory contacts.
  • Lead two monthly presentations to executive and crossfunctional teams on demand planning activities.
  • Transform sales pipeline data and field intelligence into demand signals.
  • Participate in supply planning meetings and report key takeaways.
  • Summarize industry reports to inform executive perspectives.
  • 10% domestic and international travel to Mexico.

Qualifications
  • Four years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in business planning or supply chain management role.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and Smartsheet, or equivalent. 

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or closely related.
  • Salary will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location between $140,000 and $150,000.

Travel
  • Up to 10%
