Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is hiring at a record pace. As part of the Program Planning family, you will support the preparation and maintenance of program schedules and plans. Our Program Planners are trusted partners and strategic advisors.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as a point of contact with program Directors and Senior Program Planning Management
  • Supervise Planning team and provide direction and oversight through daily interactions
  • Collaborate with Planning Manager for personnel assignments, establishment of priorities and ensuring adequate training, and corrective action measures
  • Provide guidance to team members based on organizational goals and company policy
  • Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of Planning artifacts for business area
  • Developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for new or existing development/production/sustainment programs leveraging the Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS)
  • Tracking progress of program activities against baseline internal plans, and ensuring schedule margin to contract dates is achieved or maintained
  • Maintaining schedules, performing probabilistic / deterministic risk analysis, and identifying critical/driving paths while developing solutions for resolutions along with network logic validation/deconfliction
  • Supporting and participating in negotiations with customer and internal stakeholders
  • Proposal submittal and execution schedule development through preparation and assessment of progress against established plans and parameters
  • Formulating and recommending corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, fund allocations, and work requirements
  • Maintaining cost and schedule integration throughout program lifecycle
  • Implementing and monitoring Earned Value Management System on programs
