Job description

Both positions will support the following service areas: Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

Position Summary:

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for actively recruiting new corporations, community, and public partners to generate volunteers, youth/families, and program support. This role focuses on outreach, relationship building, and follow-through to ensure consistent recruitment results within an assigned geographic area(s).

The Partnerships Manager builds and maintains relationships with local businesses, schools, faith-based groups, and community organizations. The role includes making calls, scheduling meetings, delivering presentations, attending events, and conducting ongoing follow-up to move prospects from initial interest to active partnership.

This position recruits’ volunteers by promoting and filling regularly scheduled Big Orientation & Training (BOT) sessions and coordinating on-site BOT sessions with corporate and community partners as needed.

The Partnerships Manager maintains existing partner relationships to encourage continued engagement and repeat participation. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Partnerships, the position supports the recruitment and engagement of a local Leadership Council to help increase community awareness and advocacy for the agency’s mission.

Qualifications

Education/Training (or equivalent):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.

Experience:
Experience in sales, outreach, volunteer recruitment, customer service, or community engagement preferred. Comfortable initiating contact with new prospects and building relationships. Effective communication and presentation skills.

Skills/Knowledge:
Proficiency in MS Office and database/CRM systems (Match Force preferred). Ability to prepare presentations and written communications. Organized with strong follow-up skills.

Other:
Reliable transportation required for travel throughout the workday. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support recruitment events and community meetings.
