Teen Challenge Southeast's mission is to offer life transformation through Christ-centered programs. Our residential discipleship ministry helps individuals overcome life-controlling issues through faith in Jesus Christ. As our ministry continues to grow, we are seeking leaders who are passionate about developing people, cultivating healthy teams, and advancing our mission with excellence and integrity.
Position Summary
The Adult Program Director provides spiritual, operational, and administrative leadership for a residential recovery center. This role is responsible for leading staff, overseeing daily program operations, fostering a Christ-centered culture, and ensuring excellence in student care, discipleship, and organizational stewardship.
Primary Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Oversight
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the Adult Program.
  • Foster a healthy, Christ-centered culture that promotes spiritual growth, accountability, and excellence.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop department heads and program staff.
  • Facilitate regular staff and leadership meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Teen Challenge policies, accreditation standards, and operational procedures.
  • Oversee student programming, mentoring, documentation, and case management.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Spiritual Leadership
  • Serve as the spiritual leader of the campus through biblical leadership and personal example.
  • Conduct chapel services and monthly family training events.
  • Promote a culture of prayer, discipleship, and servant leadership.
Community Engagement & Development
  • Represent Teen Challenge within churches, community organizations, and public partnerships.
  • Build relationships with ministry partners, donors, and community leaders.
  • Lead local fundraising efforts and major fundraising events.
  • Promote the Student Sponsorship initiative and other outreach opportunities.
  • Recruit and lead an effective Advisory Board.
Operations & Stewardship
  • Steward the campus's finances, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and ministry resources.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and effective campus environment.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and support departments to ensure operational excellence.
  • Participate in regional meetings, leadership development, and ministry events.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a mature and growing faith.
  • A clear calling to Christian ministry and discipleship.
  • Agreement with the mission, vision, and core values of Teen Challenge Southeast.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, develop leaders, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in ministry, residential programs, counseling, addiction recovery, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology and documentation systems.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate within the Teen Challenge Southeast region as ministry opportunities arise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Counseling, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience within Teen Challenge or a similar Christ-centered organization.
  • Experience in fundraising, public speaking, and community engagement.
