Mental Health Operations Program Director - Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
Location: Center City, Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person (Traditional Business Hours)

Position Overview

High Focus Centers is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Mental Health Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations and clinical service delivery of our behavioral health and substance use treatment programs at our Center City location. This leader will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, strong clinical programming, and a positive environment for both staff and clients.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with a strong background in behavioral healthcare leadership who is passionate about program development, team collaboration, and delivering high-quality, client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership for outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment programs.
  • Oversee daily program operations to ensure efficient service delivery and positive client outcomes.
  • Support program development and growth in response to community needs and organizational goals.
  • Monitor program performance metrics related to access, engagement, clinical outcomes, and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF) and organizational policies.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Promote a welcoming, recovery-oriented, and client-centered treatment environment.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and maintain clear communication across program staff.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support program success.
  • Assist with oversight of program budgets, staffing needs, and operational planning.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and organizational initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and guidance to program staff.
  • Support staff development, clinical excellence, and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high-quality care.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a recognized clinical discipline from an accredited college (must include a clinical practicum).
  • Active clinical licensure in Pennsylvania (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • 2-5 years of supervisory or program leadership experience, preferably in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program operations and clinical priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to evidence-based treatment and continuous quality improvement.
